New Delhi, 04 September: During the upcoming monsoon session of the Parliament, the government will give written answers to 160 unstarred questions during the proceedings of the house every day.

The Lok Sabha Secretariat said on Friday that during the session starting on September 14, the government will give 160 questions every day and 1120 written answers in a week.

The Lok Sabha Secretariat said that due to the situation arising out of global pandemic Covid-19, it was decided to suspend the Question Hour temporarily and to avoid large number of officers being present in the galleries of the House during the Question Hour in view of the need for social distance.

Though, this change in the proceedings of the House regarding the Question Hour is only for the Monsoon Session and the Government has made it clear that the Question Hour will be back in the Winter Session.
