FIR against 3 people including a Mahant for showing Aurangzeb in banner

Chitrakoot, 07 August: An First Information Report (FIR) has been registered against three people, including the Mahant, for putting a picture of the cruel Mughal ruler Aurangzeb in the banner of the ancient Yagyavedi temple located on the Mandakini bank in Ramghat, Chitrakoot of Uttar Pradesh.

It is alleged that Mahant Satyaprakash of Yagyavedi had made this banner with photographs of himself and Aurangzeb for the purpose of promoting with the ancient Balaji temple.

Seeing the action of the Mahant, the Hindu Yuva Vahini had complained about the matter and on which the police registered a case against three people including the Mahant.

In the case, an FIR has been registered on the complaint of the District President of Hindu Yuva Vahini. In this case, one accused has been arrested and action has been taken under section 151.

According to the information received, Buddha Prakash, District President of Hindu Yuva Vahini, had given a complaint in Karvi police station. In which Mahant Satyaprakash Das of Yagyavedi and his associate Charan Das and the priest had made banners to promote the temple and themselves. In this banner, these people had also got the picture of the cruel Mughal ruler Aurangzeb installed along with their picture.

In this case, Buddha Prakash, the district president of Hindu Yuva Vahini said that the heinous act of showing the Mughal ruler as great has been done by putting a picture in the publicity material of this temple built by the Panna king in the 16th century. Seeing Aurangzeb’s photo in the banner, the people of the organization objected to the Mahant and asked the reason for it.

On asking the reason, Mahant Satyaprakash Das told the people of Hindu Yuva Vahini that Aurangzeb’s copper plate is in the temple.

He told that according to what he had heard and read from the people about the temple, he had got the photo installed in the banner. Around 24 people from Hindu Yuva Vahini had come to him and raised objections about the banner. They had said that this banner should be removed.

In this case, CO City Sheetla Prasad Pandey told that a poster was put up in the Yagyavedi temple in Ramghat, in which the Mahants of the temple Satyaprakash Das, Charan Das, Tribhuvan Das had put a picture of the Mughal ruler Aurangzeb in their picture poster, about which Hindu Yuva Vahini had lodged a protest. In this case, action has been taken against one accused in 151 and search is on for the remaining two people.
