Noida, 18 July: According to Uttar Pradesh Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) officials, Seema Haider, a Pakistani woman who illegally entered India to marry her Indian boyfriend Sachin Meena, was previously in contact with other persons in India through the online game PUBG.

Meanwhile, she is being investigated by the ATS and the Intelligence Bureau (IB) for alleged links to the Pakistan Army and the country’s intelligence organisation, Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI).

During the ATS interrogation on Monday, it was found that Seema Haider had contacted persons largely from the Delhi-NCR region via PUBG. According to ATS sources, Seema Haider was requested to read a few lines in English. She not only read well, but she also read them in an excellent way.

Seema Haider, who illegally entered India across the Nepal border in May, is now residing with Sachin Meena in Greater Noida, Gautam Buddh Nagar district, Uttar Pradesh.

Seema Haider’s previously erased smartphone data will be transferred to a forensic lab. According to facts, Seema Haider’s cellphone data might reveal critical information because her uncle and brother are both members of the Pakistan Army. Her immigration into India without a visa was also being investigated.

Meanwhile, concerns have been raised over the validity of her Pakistani identity card. On September 20, 2022, the ID card, which is generally gained at birth, was issued. The Uttar Pradesh ATS is looking into the delay in acquiring her citizenship ID card. Her passport, Aadhaar card, and other documents pertaining to her children would be scrutinised as well.

Seema Haider (30) arrived in India with her four children on a bus from Nepal in May to live with her 22-year-old lover Sachin Meena in Greater Noida’s Rabupura district. The couple originally met in 2019 through PUBG.

On July 4, Seema Haider was apprehended by local police for unlawfully entering India, while Sachin Meena was detained for harbouring illegal immigrants. However, on July 7, they were both granted bail by a local court and have been living with her four children in a residence in the Rabupura neighbourhood.
