Election violence in MP: Firing in constituency of union Minister Tomar, one died in Chhatarpur

Bhopal, 17 November: Sporadic violence has been reported from some areas after voting began for the assembly elections in Madhya Pradesh on Friday morning. There is information about the death of a supporter of Congress candidate Vikram Singh Nataraja in Chhatarpur. He used to drive his car. There is also information about firing in Dimani, the assembly constituency of union Minister Narendra Singh Tomar.

According to the sources, in Ater, the administration has placed BJP and Congress candidates under house arrest due to tension.

It has been told that in Bhainsroli of Sumavali assembly constituency of Morena district, some miscreants stopped the villagers from voting. Voting stopped due to this.

On information, Collector Ankit Asthana reached the spot. The situation here is still said to be tense. BJP candidate from Ater in Bhind district Arvind Bhadauria has been placed under house arrest by the administration.

Apart from this, Congress candidate from Ater Hemant Katare and his elder brother Yogesh Katare have been placed under house arrest by the administration in a private garden in Jalpuri on Surpura Road. The administration is not allowing the media to reach them.

Salman Khan was crushed by a car in Rajnagar assembly constituency of Chhatarpur district of the state. He is a supporter and driver of Congress candidate Vikram Singh Nati Raja. The matter has reached the police station. FIR has not been filed in this matter yet. The car is said to belong to a BJP supporter.

Two people are reported to have been seriously injured in the firing between two groups at the Mirghan polling booth of Dimani assembly constituency of union Minister Narendra Singh Tomar. Police has reached the spot.

However, the police have not confirmed this. There is information on stone pelting from two sides at polling station 148. Voting was halted due to an EVM malfunction in Sarafa Bazar School. Due to EVM malfunction, voting started late by about 40 minutes at Padma Raje Girls School.
