Drone picture of Ram temple construction released

Ayodhya, 06 December: The grand temple of Lord Shri Ram being built in Ayodhya is taking shape on a brisk note. The first floor of the temple will be ready by December 2023 and in January 2024 Ramlala will sit at his place.

Champat Rai, general secretary of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, informed the devotees about the progress of temple construction by sharing a picture taken from a drone camera on December 3.

It is seen in the picture that the sanctum sanctorum and foundation of the Ram temple has been completed and now carved pillars are being erected on it.

It is expected that from January 2024, devotees will be able to visit Ramlala. The construction work is being done keeping this target in mind.

Some photos were released on 25 November. In which it is shown that carved pillars are being installed for the construction of the temple. These pictures were shared by Champat Rai from his Twitter account on November 25.

The work of carving the pillars for the construction of the temple is being done since 1992.

From the social media account of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, pictures of temple construction are released from time to time.

Since the construction of the temple at Ramjanmabhoomi, the number of daily visitors to Ramlala is continuously increasing. Although the flow of faith was interrupted in 2020 and 21 due to the Corona crisis, but this year there is a surge in the number of devotees. For the last few months, the number of daily visitors to Ramlala ranges from 15000 to 20000 and on two days of the weekend this number exceeds 25,000.

This year, on January 1 and April 10, on the day of Ram Janmotsav, the number of visitors to Ramlala was one lakh. According to VHP leader Sharad Sharma, after the construction of the temple, one lakh devotees are expected to visit Ramlala everyday.

Anil Mishra, a member of the Ram Mandir Trust, said, “On the occasion of Deepotsav, PM Modi had reviewed the construction of the temple. After this, PM Modi had given some suggestions regarding the entry point and exit. Six pavilions will be built on the temple premises, which will be of 32/32 where the sages and saints will meditate. Along with this, bar codes are also being applied on the stones.”
