Delhi: Police rescue 250 trapped artists inside Red Fort

New Delhi, 26 January: About 250 artists trapped inside the Red Fort have been safely evacuated by the Delhi Police.

They also include some children. When the farmers captured the Red Fort, at that time there were about 250 artists who were trapped inside the historical Red Fort.

These people have been taken out safely from the movement and they have been sent to their house by bus.

According to Additional spokesperson of Delhi Police, Anil Mittal, when the farmers occupied the Red Fort, there were about 250 artisans, some of them children. All of them had come to perform programs in Republic Day parade from various places in Delhi.

โ€œSeeing the huge crowd of farmers, everyone started getting panic. In such a situation, on a priority basis, the Delhi Police personnel safely evacuated all the people from there, after which they have been sent to their home safely.
