Delhi, 3 February: Delhi BJP President Virendra Sachdeva, who filed a complaint against AAP convenor Arvind Kejriwal for allegations of MLA poaching, expressed his satisfaction with the Delhi Crime Branch serving a notice to Chief Minister Kejriwal.

He stated that his party had condemned Kejriwal’s false allegations and had registered a complaint against him. Sachdeva further accused Kejriwal of sensationalizing things and avoiding the notice due to his habit of running away from responsibility. He also mentioned that the police would do their job in investigating the matter.

The Crime Branch had served notices to both Kejriwal and Delhi Education Minister Atishi, asking for evidence to support the claims. However, neither could be reached at their residences. Kejriwal had made these allegations on his social media account, claiming that the BJP was trying to poach seven AAP MLAs by offering them Rs 25 crore each and a BJP ticket to contest in the elections. In response, the BJP called these allegations false and stated that it was Kejriwal’s last attempt to remain politically relevant.

Virendra Sachdeva labeled Kejriwal as ‘politically desperate’ and accused him of being ‘mentally bankrupt’ for making such untrue claims.
