The fundamental goal of the Aarohini programme, which will be executed in three phases, according to Director General of School Education Vijay Kiran Anand, is gender sensitization. Teachers will be trained in the first phase, which begins on February 1. The training will be provided to two instructors from each Kasturba Gandhi Residential Girls’ School, who will subsequently educate the girls at their respective schools, according to the statement. The institution would also groom the females via discussions and other activities, in addition to the teachers.
