By-elections: BJP wins 6 seats with 36.73 percent votes, SP bags 1, BSP 0

The SP wins 2361 percent votes in Malhani seat by-election.

A total of 4.77 lakh voters voted for BJP and 3.07 lakh voters for SP.

Lucknow, November 10: The results of the by-elections in the seven vacant seats of the Legislative Assembly in the state of Uttar Pradesh have shut the mouth of anti-BJP parties.

The Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) managed to win six seats despite all the opposition’s accusations.

At the same time, there was a seat in the SP’s account. The BSP and Congress could not even open the account.

However, Congress finished second in two places. Last time, out of these seven seats, Malhani seat was with SP, while BJP had six seats. In this way, no picture has changed even after the results of the by-election.

The BJP got the highest 36.73 percent votes in the by-election after this, the Samajwadi Party (SP) finished second with 23.61 percent votes. The Bahujan Samajwadi Party (BSP) got 18.97 percent votes. While the Congress managed to get only 7.53 percent votes. Others had 11.36 percent votes.

With this, if we talk about total votes, then BJP got 4, 77,645 votes. 3, 07,050 voters voted in favor of SP. The BSP received 2, 46,618 votes. Congress candidates got a total of 97,982 votes, while others got a total of 1, 47,668 votes.

BJP candidate Sangeeta Chauhan of Amroha district’s 40-Naugaon Sadat secured 86,692 votes. Javed Abbas of SP got 71,615 votes. In this way Sangeeta Chauhan won by 15,077 votes. In this seat, BJP candidate got 41.72 percent and SP candidate got 34.46 votes.

The Bharatiya Janata Party candidate Usha Sirohi polled 88,645 votes from 65-Bulandshahr district of Bulandshahr. He secured 43.81 percent votes. Mohammad Yunus of Bahujan Samaj Party, who finished second, received 66,943 votes. He secured 33.08 percent votes, thus, the BJP candidate won by defeating him by 21,702 votes.

The BJP candidate Prempal Singh Dhangar from 95-Tundla (reserved seat) in Ferozabad defeated Maharaj Singh Dhangar of SP by 17,683 votes. Here BJP candidate got 72,950 and SP candidate got 55,267 votes. BJP got 40.24 percent votes and SP got 30.49 percent votes in this seat.

Similarly, in Unnao’s 162-Bangarmau seat, BJP candidate Shrikant Katiyar defeated Aarti Bajpayee of Congress by 31,398 votes. The BJP candidate got 71,381 votes and the Congress 39,983 votes. BJP got 40.98 percent and Congress 22.96 percent.

BJP’s Upendra Nath Paswan won the 218-Ghatampur (reserved) seat of Kanpur Nagar by defeating Dr. Kripa Shankar of Congress by 23,820 votes. BJP got 60,405 votes and its vote share was 38.36. The Congress candidate got 36,585 votes here. At the same time, he got 23.23 percent votes.

In Deoria’s Sadar Assembly seat, BJP candidate Satyaprakash Mani defeated his nearest candidate SP candidate Brahma Shankar Tripathi by 20,089 votes. Here BJP candidate got 68,732 votes and SP candidate 48,643 votes. BJP got 40.42 percent votes and SP 28.6 percent votes here.

Independent candidate Dhananjay Singh of Jaunpur’s 367-Malhani seat was seen giving a tough fight to the SP. Here after every round, the competition looked interesting. However, in the end, SP’s Lucky Yadav defeated Dhananjay Singh by 4,632 votes and won the seat. The SP candidate got 73,468 votes and Dhananjay Singh 68,836 votes. The SP candidate secured 35.45 percent and Dhananjay Singh 33.22 percent. It is noteworthy that in the by-election, 40-Naugaon Sadat of Amroha district 14, 65-Bulandshahar district 18, Bulandshahar 18, Ferozabad’s safe seat 95-Tundla (reserved) Unnao 162-Bangarmau 10, Kanpur city’s safe seat. 218 – 06 candidates from Ghatampur (reserved), 337 from Deoria district, 14 from Deoria and 167 from 367-Malhani seat in Jaunpur were in the fray
