Budget dedicated to youth, successful in keeping fiscal deficit below 3 percent: says CM Yogi after the presentation of budget

Lucknow, February 18: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that everyone has been taken care of in the 2020-21 budget presented by the state government today.

β€œWe have made this budget for the youth, and have dedicated them. An attempt has been made to make Uttar Pradesh a center of education. The most important thing is that this budget is made following financial discipline. We have been able to keep our fiscal deficit below the 3 per cent limit set by the Reserve Bank, ie 2.97 per cent,” said Yogi.

The Chief Minister was speaking at the press conference after the Budget was presented in the House. Keeping in mind the overall development of the state, he congratulated Finance Minister Suresh Khanna, Minister of State for Finance and the entire team for presenting a good budget, giving adequate space to the interests of each section of the society.

The Chief Minister said that our efforts are on for women’s empowerment within the state. Benefit is being provided to the girls through Chief Minister Kanya Sumangala Yojana. The Bundelkhand Expressway will be launched this month.

Similarly, for the construction of an international airport in Ayodhya, we have allocated the budget. Our efforts are also on to ensure that everyone gets a house by 2022. He said that now not only the original farmers but also the divided farmers can also avail the insurance scheme. Sometimes if he was killed in an accident, his family would not get any benefit, but this provision has been made in this budget.
