Auraiya, April 29: A video from Auraiya, Uttar Pradesh, is rapidly going viral on social media, showing a district president of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) dancing on the roof of a car in a “filmy style.” It is being reported that this video was shot during a celebration, where the BJP leader not only danced while standing on the roof of the car, but also people present with him threw currency notes.

The viral video clearly shows stunts being performed while standing on the roof of a moving or stationary car, a blatant violation of traffic rules. Others present at the scene are also seen enthusiastically recording the entire incident. It is reported that Bidhuna Block Chief Representative Adarsh ​​Thakur was also present at the scene, further fueling the discussion.

After the video went viral on social media, people reacted sharply. Many users called it a disregard for laws and regulations, demanding action. The public said that when people in responsible positions or political figures break rules like this, it sends a negative message to society.

Taking the matter seriously, the traffic police took cognizance of the viral video on Wednesday and initiated action against the vehicle involved. Meanwhile, ARTO N.C. Singh of the Transport Department stated that a total fine of ₹27,500 has been imposed on the vehicle for violating traffic rules.

He stated that performing such stunts on public roads is not only illegal but also poses a threat to life and property to ordinary citizens.

The police have appealed to the public to follow traffic rules and avoid such dangerous stunts. The matter has now become a topic of discussion throughout the district, with people viewing it from the perspective of responsibility versus negligence.
