Amar Dubey involved in heinous crime of killing eight police personnel including CO in Kanpur.

Lucknow / Hamirpur, July 08: After the killing of eight police personnel including CO in Kanpur district of Uttar Pradesh, Amar Dubey, a close associate of gangster Vikas Dubey, who was on the loose, has been killed by the STF team in Hamirpur district.

In this regard, UP’s Additional Director General of Police (Law and Order) Prashant Kumar said on Wednesday that the STF and local police traced the location of Amar Dubey, a close associate of most wanted Vikas Dubey accused in Kanpur killgate, in Maudha police station area of โ€‹โ€‹Hamirpur. After which he was surrounded, however, he tried to flee after seeing the siege, but when he failed in his attempt to escape, he opened fire on the STF and police team, after which he was killed in an encounter.

According to the information, the killed Amar Dubey is a vicious criminal of the infamous Vikas Dubey gang and was involved in the brutal murder of eight police personnel including CO Devendra Mishra, SO Mahesh Yadav in Bikru village of Kanpur and absconded after the incident.

However, the police announced a bounty on his head of Rs 25 thousand and started chasing for him. On the spot, the police are gathering evidences and putting clues of his other associates.
