Ayodhya: Ramlala temple to open for devotees from June 1

Ayodhya, 31 May: The Ramlala (the infant Ram) temple will be opened for the devotees from June 1 at Shri Ram Janmabhoomi in Ayodhya district of Uttar Pradesh.

With which the devotees will be able to enter in the number of 5-5 in the sanctum sanctorum of Ramlala temple with social distancing. The administration has started the preparations for this.

Principal priest of the Ramlala temple, Acharya Satyendra Das said on Monday that the order has come from the government that the process of covid unlock will start in the districts where the number of Covid-19 active cases is below 600. In order to avoid crowds in temples, 5 people have been directed to have a ‘darshan’ of the Ramlala at a time.

He told that the devotees will enter to Ramlala’s complex by following physical distance and will come out in the same manner. Devotees will get ‘darshan’ only by following the prescribed protocols regarding Covid-19. However, till now the doors of Ramlala temple was closed for devotees due to implementation of the corona curfew across Uttar Pradesh.
