Ayodhya, September 11: Ram devotees hoping for the construction of a grand Shri Ram temple in the temple town may have to wait a little longer as the work of filling the foundation for the construction of the temple was increased a little more.

Earlier the foundation filling was to be of 44 layers. But now keeping in mind the standards of strength, 4 layers have been increased. With this, now the filling of the foundation will be of 48 layers.

Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust claimed that even after increasing the layer, the work of filling the foundation will be completed by September 20.

The Trust’s General Secretary Champat Rai apprised that with the strength of the Ram temple, the trust does not want to make any haste. This is the reason why the trust is keeping every step with a sigh.

According to the Trust’s General Secretary Champat Rai, after filling the layer of foundation, each layer is being pressed with a vibrator for strength. But according to the standards, there is still a gap of two inches. In view of this reason, the number of layers has been increased to 48 instead of 44.

Rai has expressed hope that by September 20, the foundation filling work will be completed.
