Another FIR registered against makers of web series ‘Tandav’ in Lucknow

Lucknow, 19 January: Another First Information Report (FIR) has been registered in Ghazipur police station in Lucknow on Tuesday against the makers and artists of the controversial web series โ€˜Tandavโ€™.

Savarkar Army Chief Swami Brihamesh Ji Maharaj has submitted a written complaint at Ghazipur police station on Tuesday.

He said that on January 17, web series of Amazon Prime Video โ€˜Tandavโ€™ was seen in which it was found that in the 17th minute of the first episode, Hindu deities are shown speaking, using a vulgar language. Similarly, there are dialogues that incite communal feelings at many places. There is a scene of insulting women. The dignity of a supreme position like the Prime Minister of India has been hurt in the film.

He has lodged an FIR against the producer director, writer and Amazon Prime in this case.

Earlier, the case was filed by Amarnath Yadav, senior sub-inspector of Hazratganj Kotwali police station on the orders of the state government.
