Raebareli, 09 June: After the former Union Minister Jitin Prasada left the Congress and joined the BJP, a political stir has started in Sonia Gandhi’s stronghold seat Raebareli as well.

MLA Aditi Singh has also signalled of leaving the Congress and looking for her future in other parties. There was also an appeal from the party to cancel her membership of the assembly, which was rejected.

Aditi Singh, in her statement given in Lucknow on Wednesday, said that the time has come for her to leave the Congress and decide her future and she will decide from which party she has to contest.

When Jitin Prasada left the party, she said that it is a big loss for the party and the party should introspect on this matter.

She said that the party should think that why leaders like Jyotiraditya Scindia and Jitin Prasad are leaving the party and Congress is now becoming a family party.

Aditi Singh said the party needs to work on the ground. Regarding Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, she said that she does not say anything about her, but raises questions only in the interest of the party. What can she do if someone feels bad about it?

It is noteworthy that MLA Aditi Singh, who was once close to the Gandhi family, now leaves no opportunity to question the Congress high command. The party has openly supported Article 370 by going against the whip and voting.

Aditi Singh, who has described Yogi Adityanath as her guru, is being speculated to join the BJP soon. This can definitely create problems for the party in the only stronghold of the Congress in Uttar Pradesh.
