Active Covid-19 cases declining in the country

New Delhi, 30 September: There is a trend of continuous decline in the number of active cases as compared to the percentage of total positive cases of global pandemic coronavirus disease in India.

At present only 15.11 percent of the total positive cases in the country are active cases which are 9, 40, 441.

According to the Ministry of Health, the figure was 33.32 percent as on August 1, which has come down to 15.11 percent as on September 30. In two months, the number of active cases has halved.

The continuously growing of recovery rate in India today stands at 83.33 percent.

In the last 24 hours, 86,428 patients have been cured and have been discharged. The total number of cases cured is 51, 87,825.

The difference between the recovery cases and the active cases has crossed 42 lakhs (42, 47,384).

The gap is steadily increasing due to the increasing number of recoveries.

According to the Ministry of Health, rapid recovery of Covid-19 patients across states and union territories is being recorded due to test, track, treatment and technology strategy. There are less than 5,000 active cases in 14 states and union territories.

More than 76 percent of active cases concentrated in 10 states

So far, 76% of the total active cases in the country come from 10 states. These states include Maharashtra, Karnataka, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Odisha, Assam, Chhattisgarh and Telangana. Maharashtra topped the list with over 2, 60,000 active cases.
