(Update) CM Yogi asks to make available details of vacancies within week

The current state government has given jobs to about 03 lakh candidates so far.

Recruitment process will start in next three months, selected candidates will get appointment letters in six months.

Lucknow, September 18: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has given instructions to start the recruitment process for the vacant posts in all departments.

He has directed to provide details of vacant posts in a week to all Additional Chief Secretaries (ACSs) and Principal Secretaries including the Chief Secretary of the state.

The Chief Minister said on Friday that the current state government has given jobs to nearly three lakh candidates so far, adopting a transparent and fair recruitment process. In order to carry forward this work at a rapid pace, the recruitment process should be conducted in a transparent and fair manner in the coming time.

He said that starting the process of recruitment in the next three months, appointment letters should be provided to the selected candidates in six months.

The Chief Minister said that after meeting with the officials of various recruitment institutions in the state, an action plan should be prepared in connection with the conduct of selection examinations.

A spokesman of the state government said that 1,37,253 recruitments have been made in the Police Department and 54,706 in Basic Education Department in the recruitment made against the vacant posts from the year 2017 till now. In the Department of Medicine, Health and Family Welfare, 8556 of Group ‘B’, ‘C’ and ‘D’ and 28622 recruitments have been completed under National Health Mission.

โ€œSimilarly, 26,103 recruitments have been made through Public Service Commission, UP and 16,708 through UP Subordinate Services Selection Commission. 14000 recruitments have been made under Secondary Education Department (Government and Aided Schools) and 4,615 in Higher Education Department (University-College),โ€ added state Spokesman.

There are 1,112 vacancies in Medical Education Department, 700 in Urban Development Department, 726 in Cooperative Department, 614 in Finance Department and 365 recruitments in Technical Education Department-Vocational Education Department.

The spokesman said that 69,000 recruitments are under process in Basic Education Department and 16,629 in Police Department. A total of 85,629 recruitments are under process.
