Overspeeding turns fatal: Bolero crashes into parked tanker, four dead, several injured in Bareilly

Bareilly, April 5: On Sunday afternoon near Pardhauli village in Bareillyโ€™s CB Ganj ( Lt Col Peter Clutterbuck) police station area, a speeding Bolero rammed into a roadside tanker, instantly killing four occupants and seriously injuring several others as overspeeding led to the severe collision.

According to eyewitnesses, the Bolero was coming from Lucknow and was moving at a very high speed. Near Pardhauli, the driver suddenly lost control of the vehicle, and the Bolero collided directly with the tanker parked on the roadside. The impact was so severe that the occupants were trapped inside. The accident erupted in chaos. Locals immediately informed the police and ambulance. CB ganj police arrived at the scene and began rescue and relief operations. With the help of villagers, the police rescued the injured and sent them to the hospital. Four people died in the horrific accident. The deceased could not be identified as of the time of writing this news.

It was reported that a young man was badly trapped inside the Bolero in the accident. The police had to struggle a lot to free him. With the help of cutters and other tools, the young man was taken out by cutting part of the Bolero.

The CB ganj Inspector Pradeep Kumar Chaturvedi said that the injured were immediately sent to the hospital for treatment.
