Noida Noida, April 05: At least six people committing suicide due to mental stress have come to light in different police station areas of Noida, police told.
In this regard, the media in-charge of Police Commissioner Laxmi Singh told on Sunday that Bhupendra son of Kishan Chand (23), a native of Etawah district, living in Police Station Sector 63 area, committed suicide by hanging himself from a fan at his home on the intervening night of Saturday and Sunday.
The media in-charge told that Bharat Verma (28), son of Ramdas Verma, living in Baraula village of Police Station Sector 49 area, committed suicide by hanging himself from a fan at his home last night due to mental stress. Sumit Kumar (21), son of Surendra Singh, living in Techzone-4 of Police Station Bisrakh area, committed suicide by hanging himself from a fan at his home last night due to mental stress.
Sonu Kumar Saifi (22), son of Pawan Kumar, who lived in the same police station area, committed suicide by hanging himself from a fan at his home last night.
Similarly, Rishi Kumar (21), son of Arun Kumar, who lived in Golf City Society in Sector 75, Sector 113, committed suicide by jumping from his 16th-floor flat. Police are investigating the matter.
Meanwhile, in the Beta 2 area, Aman, 21, son of Deshraj, consumed poison due to mental stress. He was admitted to the hospital in critical condition, where he died during treatment. He said the deceased were originally from Agra district.
The Police Commissioner’s media in-charge stated that all the bodies have been taken into custody by the police station and sent for post-mortem examination. Further action is underway.
