Gorakhpur, June 30: The Uttar Pradesh’s (UP) first Mahayogi Guru Gorakhnath AYUSH University built in Pipri of Bhathat will not only become a centre for the treatment of ancient and traditional AYUSH methods including Ayurveda and education related to them, but new doors of employment are also going to open through it.
The inauguration of AYUSH University will be done by the country’s first citizen President Droupadi Murmu on Tuesday (July 1) forenoon.
The state’s first AYUSH University is the dream project of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath to promote medicine, education and medical tourism through AYUSH system.
The foundation stone of this university was laid on August 28, 2021 by the then President Ram Nath Kovind. Now it will be inaugurated by President Droupadi Murmu on July 1, 2025. This AYUSH University is built on an area of ββ52 acres in Pipri of Bhathat area. Its approved cost is Rs 267.50 crore.
