2 Iranian citizens living illegally in Gurugram’s Sector-49, detained

Gurugram, 23 February: Two Iranian citizens were living in Gurugram even after the expiry of their visa and passport. They used to transact money by making fake documents and through hawala. 

On Friday, a joint team of Chief Minister Flying Squad Gurugram and Crime Unit Gurugram conducted a raid in district Gurugram on the basis of secret information and arrested him.

Chief Minister Flying Squad was receiving information for a long time that two Iranian citizens were living without visa and passport in Sector-49 area. When the team reached house number 268, second floor, South City-2, Q-1 block, two Iranian nationals were found staying illegally. The validity of the passport of Iran resident Puriya Siraj had expired. The visa he had was no longer valid after it expired. The visa of his brother Mohammed Mugani had also expired.

Both Iranian citizens were kept on rent by the landlord for Rs 16,000 per month without C-Form and police verification. During the investigation, an Aadhar card with the same number in the name of Abbadul Mukaram, address of Sector-49, Gurugram and address of Delhi was found in the possession of Iranian citizen Puriya Siraj. On which Puriya Siraj’s photo was pasted. Driving license of Delhi, voter card of Gurugram, PAN card, International Driving License made from Iran, Haryana Family Identity Card and passbook and debit card of Karnataka Bank Lajpat Nagar Delhi account were found from him.

During checking from another youth Mohammad Mughani, Aadhar card of Lajpat Nagar Delhi address was found, which was made in the name of Mohammad Hanif. The photo of Mohammad Mugani was found on it. PAN card was found in the name of Mohammad Hanif. Both Iranian citizens were living without passport visa for the last one year. His age is around 24/25 years. The documents of Haryana and Delhi were also made fake by him in collusion. 

He told during interrogation that he used to take his commission by transacting money through Hawala. Five mobile phones, Rs 18730, 514 American dollars, two gold rings, one earring and 7 watches were recovered from them. Both Iranian citizens were hiding their identities. A case has been registered against him and investigation has been started.
