Lucknow, 21 December: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath canceled all the programs to go out of Lucknow. Rather, he has decided to stay in Lucknow and will keep an eye on the incidents of nuisance. He was scheduled to go to Amethi on Saturday. However, he also canceled it. Right from morning, he is taking stock of the situation everywhere from the authorities one by one. The Chief Minister is more worried about people coming  from outside states and spreading riots over here.

However, the situation in the entire state is under control since this morning. Every effort is being made to improve the system. On the other hand, the agitation against the Citizenship Amendment Act continued till late night on Friday. In this, a total of 13 people died in violent incidents across the state, including an eight-year-old child.

According to the information, four have been killed in Meerut, two each in Bijnor, Kanpur, Sambhal, one each in Muzaffarnagar, Firozabad and Varanasi. However,  IG law and order confirmed eight deaths.

According to the sources, a local SP leader is said to be behind the violence in Khadra area of โ€‹โ€‹Hasanganj in the district of Bahraich. The Intelligence Department had already reported to the administration that the leader had called a group of 60 miscreants from Bahraich. Despite this, the police could not take the miscreants into custody nor could that area be sealed. Due to this, the miscreants in the same area carried out a fire incident around one o’clock in the afternoon.
