Ayodhya, 20 Jan: Cyber thugs have also become active in view of the consecration program of Lord Shri Ram Lalla, which is going to be held on January 22 in Ayodhya Dham. Fake messages are being sent to people in the name of giving donations for Ram Janmabhoomi, distributing free Prasad, giving VIP passes and entry passes.

The Yogi government has also prepared to take action regarding this activism of cyber thugs. Instructions have been given to the entire state as well as Ayodhya police in particular to remain vigilant.

Ayodhya Police recently took action in a similar case and arrested an Indian American citizen and sent him to jail under relevant sections. Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust has also cautioned all the devotees regarding this.

In its appeal to all the devotees, the Trust has said that cyber thugs are taking advantage of people’s faith and cheating in many ways. In these, fake QR codes are being sent to collect donations in the name of Ram temple.

In the name of distributing free prasad to the common people, in the name of giving VIP passes and entry passes to visit Ram Temple and by creating fake websites in the name of Ram Temple Ayodhya, people are being fooled.

In such a situation, everyone is requested not to reply to the request of any unknown person or to any WhatsApp message sent by an unknown person without verification, nor to donate money to anyone without verification. On the other hand, Ayodhya Police has also taken action against such cases.

A campaign has been launched for public awareness regarding this.

Recently, Ayodhya Police has arrested the accused in a case and sent him to jail. CO City Ayodhya Shailendra Singh said that the accused also has American citizenship, who has been accused of home delivery of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Pran Pratistha Prasad for Rs 51 to citizens of Indian origin and 11 dollars to citizens of other countries through website and social media and apart from the Prasad, Shri Ram printed T-shirt, Charan Paduka in the name of Shri Ram.

A case was registered of cheating more than 16 lakh people on the pretext of providing flags, towels, Shri Ram printed silver coins and other items in the name of Shri Ram. These people were defrauded of about Rs 10.5 crore through online orders.

Police is also making people aware in this regard through newspapers and other social media platforms.

The police have urged people not to fall prey to such calls or messages. Give information against such people by calling the National Cyber Helpline (1930) so that these thugs can be caught.

Along with this, you can also report such people by visiting cybercrime.gov.in, a portal created to stop cyber crime.
