Yogi government to give five acres of land for mosque at Raunahi situated on the outskirts of the Ayodhya city

Along with this important decisions in the cabinet meeting were taken, many other proposals were approved.

Lucknow, 05 February: With the announcement of the formation of a trust by the central government for the construction of Ram temple in Ayodhya, the Yogi Adityanath government has given the green signal to allot five acres of land for the mosque to the Sunni Waqf Board. In the cabinet meeting held on Wednesday, many important proposals were approved along with this important decision.

State government spokesperson and cabinet minister Siddharth Nath Singh said that as per the orders of the Supreme Court, five acres of land was scheduled to be given to the Sunni Waqf Board within three months. In this, the decision to give five acres of land in Raunahi situated on the Lucknow-Ayodhya highway to the Sunni Waqf Board was approved.

Along with this, the proposal of Home Department regarding establishment of Cybercrime Police Station was approved. In view of cybercrime, till now there were only police stations in Lucknow and Gautam Buddha Nagar. Now one cyber police station will be opened at divisional level. These police stations will be constructed at a cost of 111 crore. Under this, the proposal of the Home Department to set up cyber crime police stations in Bareilly, Moradabad, Saharanpur, Agra, Aligarh, Kanpur, Jhansi, Prayagraj, Chitrakoot, Gorakhpur, Azamgarh, Devipatan, Basti, Varanasi, Mirzapur and Ayodhya has been approved. The cyber police station will be opened here at the earliest.

A proposal was also approved to give the land of the Irrigation Department to the Home Department for a new police station at Agra. Similarly, the proposal for giving government guarantee to sugarcane farmers of Pipraich and Munderava sugar mills of Uttar Pradesh Sugar and Sugarcane Development Corporation Limited was approved in the current session.

The Prison Department proposes that the old District Prison at Bareilly be re-designated as a District Prison. New District Prison Bareilly will be retained as Central Prison II. The women’s prison located in the same will be converted into a women’s central prison for women prisoners punished by long-term punishment of the districts surrounding Bareilly.

Uttar Pradesh Sub Mineral Avoidance Rules 2020 will be promulgated. The government has also approved the taxation of minerals coming from the states bordering the state. This will provide relief to those who trade minerals in the state. Minerals are being supplied in Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Uttarakhand, Bihar, Jharkhand and Chhattisgarh etc. in UP. Once the new proposal is approved, it will be controlled.

The proposal for allotment of 34.03 acres of land of the labor department located in Hariharpur Vyaspur Fatehpur and Chanditara of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Nagar, Tehsil of Chandauli, was also approved for the headquarters of 11th Battalion of NDRF.

Apart from this, the Ministry of Housing and Urban Development has also given a green signal to the outright settlement scheme. Guarantee fee waived on the government guarantee given by the sugar mills of UP Cooperative Sugar Mills Association on the facility of city credit limit provided by UP Cooperative Bank and District Cooperative Banks. The land of the municipality in Faridpur village of Bijnor will be made available to the polyclinics to be built for ex-servicemen.

Ex-servicemen will be provided 0.070 hectare of land in the municipality in Faridpur village of Bijnore for integrated polyclinic construction.
