The wait for superstar Yash’s much-awaited film ‘Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups’ is finally over. On the special occasion of the actor’s 40th birthday, the makers released the film’s teaser, which created a huge buzz on social media. Previously, first glimpses of the film’s entire cast had been revealed, but this teaser has swelled audiences’ curiosity manifold. ‘Toxic’ is an Indian period gangster drama written and directed by National Award-winning director Geetu Mohandas.
The approximately 2 minute 51 second long video begins with a funeral scene, which immediately signals the story’s gravity and dark atmosphere. This is followed by a powerful bomb blast, followed by Yash’s powerful entry. His dangerous and fierce avatar is clearly visible from the very first frame. In the film, Yash will play the character of “Raya,” a character who embodies power, mystery, and violence.
The film’s star cast further enhances its unique cast. Yash will be joined by Kiara Advani, Nayanthara, Huma Qureshi, Tara Sutaria, and Rukmini Vasanth in pivotal roles.
