World Kickboxing Champion: Kashmir’s Tajamul Islam wins gold for country for 2nd time

New Delhi, 30 October: 13-year-old Tajamul Islam from Kashmir has created history by winning a gold medal for the second time at the World Kick Boxing Championships held in Cairo, Egypt.

Tajamul, a student of Army Goodwill School, Bandipora, is the first girl from Kashmir to win this championship. Tajamul tweeted about her gold medal winning.

Tajamul tweeted, โ€œIt was really a proud moment for me, when I won gold again at the World Kickboxing Championships in Cairo Egypt. Now I am a 2 time world kickboxing champion.”

It is worth mentioning that earlier Tajamul Islam has won this championship in the year 2016. When she participated in this championship held in Andrea, Italy, she was only 8 years old.
