Kolkata, 20 July: Former Governor of Tripura and Meghalaya Tathagata Roy once again commented on the sad plight of Hindus in West Bengal.

On Wednesday, he wrote on Twitter, “Mistake! West Bengal will remain, but it will no longer be the homeland for Bengali Hindus that Dr Syama Prasad Mookerjee envisaged when he persuaded Hindu legislators to create the state. It will be an extension of Islamic Bangladesh. Gradually the Northeast will also be infected,”.

In another tweet, he wrote, “India was partitioned between Indian and Pakistan because Muslims decided they have their own way of life and won’t live in a Hindu-dominated country. So they got their Pakistan and drove all non-Muslims out of that country. Question: Can you have the cake and eat it??
