Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra: Uttar Pradesh no 1 in terms of connecting people

Lucknow, 09 December: The Yogi government, which is implementing the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the form of a mission, is at the top position among all the schemes running in the country.

Now the name of Vikas Bharat Sankalp Yatra has also been added to this list.

Under the guidance of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, this yatra is being organized in all the gram panchayats and municipal bodies of the state.

The Vikas Bharat Sankalp Yatra, which will run till January 26, was inaugurated by Prime Minister Modi on November 15 from Khunti, Jharkhand. Till now, more than one crore people across the country have joined this campaign.

In Uttar Pradesh this number has reached more than 37 lakhs. More than 12.07 lakh people in Maharashtra and 11.58 lakh people in Gujarat participated in these yatras. More than 09 lakh people have participated in Jammu and Kashmir.

Vikas Bharat Sankalp Yatra has become a powerful and transformative campaign to strengthen the relationship between the government and the people. Through this, on-the-spot registration for various schemes, distribution of drones under the Drone Didi campaign, publicity of government schemes, especially women-centric schemes and to increase awareness are being done. People are also being appealed to make maximum use of government schemes for their benefit. 57709 gram panchayats and 777 urban bodies of Uttar Pradesh have been included in this campaign.

Prime Minister Modi himself on Saturday interacted virtually with the beneficiaries of 10 districts of the state. These include Chandauli, Amethi, Kheri, Ghaziabad, Fatehpur, Lucknow, Agra, Jalaun, Mirzapur and Muzaffarnagar. Central and state government ministers were also present in all these ten districts.

According to the state government spokesperson, Chief Minister Adityanath’s instructions are to ensure participation of maximum people at the local level in the Vikas Bharat Sankalp Yatra. Apart from this, ministers and the Governor should also be invited to the program on their arrival in any district, as well as a copy of the action plan of the Vikas Bharat Sankalp Yatra should be made available to the MP, MLA, District Panchayat President, Nagar Panchayat President, Area Panchayat Chief.

Apart from this, maximum youth of 15-29 years should be registered in “My Yuva Bharat” through youth organizations like Yuvak Mangal Dal, Yuvati Mangal Dal, PRD, Home Guard etc. Also, citizens should be made aware about NaMo mobile app and should be connected to this app.

For this campaign, on the instructions of the Chief Minister, in addition to the allocation in all the districts, mobile vans are also being supplied, which are being deployed in the Gram Panchayats. About 500 vehicles have been deployed in the campaign. They are reaching out to urban and rural areas and communicating with the public, doing on-the-spot registration for various schemes and increasing awareness.

There are also clear instructions from the Chief Minister that in the programs of Vikas Bharat Sankalp Yatra to be organized in every Gram Panchayat, local accountants, agriculture department employees, head masters of primary schools, Panchayat secretaries, Anganwadi and Asha workers, employment servants will be involved. Daily attendance of Panchayat Assistant, Group Sakhi and Common Service Center representative should be verified.
