Lucknow, 19 Nov: Ayodhya Hanuman Garhi’s Mahant Raju Das has a lengthy history of making contentious comments. He is still making headlines due to his controversial statements. Mahant Rajudas of Ayodhya Hanuman Garhi made headlines for hitting SP leader Swami Prasad Maurya and his enraged reaction to his controversial words.

Now he’s stirring up trouble again by teaching Muslim females about Halala and how to prevent triple talaq. Just two days before, he voiced severe concerns about tennis player Sania Mirza’s divorce. There was even speculation of Sania’s children not being granted Indian citizenship.

According to Mahant Rajudas, India is not an orphan country. So now Mahant has sparked a new furore by recommending ways for Muslim women to avoid triple talaq and halala.

Mahant Raju Das has advised Muslim women to marry Hindu men. Hindu boys never cheat on their wives. Women have been elevated to goddess status in Hinduism. If you want to escape triple talaq and Halala and live a humane life, marry a Hindu. The debate has heated up after Mahant’s comments.

It is worth noting that Mahant Rajudas, in a social media post just two days earlier, voiced concerns over the divorce of Indian star and Sania Mirza, who is married in Pakistan. He had inquired as to whom Sania would seek Halala now. He had also stated that Sania’s son or daughter’s Indian citizenship would be vehemently opposed.

“India is not a home for orphans,” he said.
