UP: Yogi conducts ‘rudrabhishek’ at Gorakhnath temple amid Vedic chants

Gorakhpur, July 4: According to authorities, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath conducted ‘rudrabhishek’ and ‘havan’ at the Gorakhnath temple here on Tuesday for the happiness and prosperity of the people of the state.

Yogi said that on the first day of the holy month of ‘savan,’ Adityanath volunteered to perform rudrabhishek with milk and seasonal fruit juice in the ‘shakti peeth’ located on the first floor of his temple house.

The process was concluded by singing the ‘mahamantras’ by chief priest Acharya Ramanuja Tripathi and other acharyas.

Later, they added, Adityanath performed havan and ‘aarti’ while singing Vedic mantras and wished the people of the state a healthy, successful, and peaceful life.
