More than 85,000 health workers were vaccinated till 3 pm today

Lucknow, 29 January: Vaccination against coronavirus disease of health workers in the state has completed on Friday.

However, vaccination of health workers will be carried out on February 04 and 05 next session.

During this time the first dose of all health workers will be completed. At the same time, the vaccination of frontline workers will be started from February 05.

Covid Vaccine will be given to frontline workers, policemen, Central Paramilitary Force personnel, army personnel, home guards, civil defense and municipal workers, revenue department employees.

He informed that vaccination work of health workers and frontline workers will be planned in such a way that both doses of Covid vaccine are completed by 25 March.

โ€œAfter this, vaccination work of people above 50 years of age will be started. In this regard, detailed guidelines will be obtained from the Government of India and work will be done accordingly,โ€ Prasad added.

Additional Chief Secretary, Medical and Health Amit Mohan Prasad informed that the work of vaccination is going on today at 2,074 places. As of 3 pm, more than 85,000 health workers have been vaccinated.

He informed that 216 new cases of corona infection have been reported in the last twenty four hours in the state. Meanwhile, 521 patients were discharged when they were fully healthy.

He told further, meanwhile, the number of active cases has now come down to 5918 when the transition graph in the state goes down. Of these, 1,591 are undergoing treatment in home isolation. Since the onset of the infection in the state, a total of 5, 85,273 persons have been fully recovered after treatment. In the state, a total of 8,646 people have died due to infection since March.

Additional Chief Secretary, Medical and Health said that 1, 20,649 corona samples were tested in the state yesterday. At the same time, a total of 2, 76, 57,436 samples have been tested in the state.

He informed that the residents of E Sanjeevani portal are constantly using it. Yesterday, 5,017 people in the state received counselling from doctors sitting at home through e-Sanjeevani portal. So far, a total of 4, 51,775 people have received medical consultation through the e-Sanjeevani portal.

He informed that the work of surveillance is going on continuously in the state. A population of 15,25,41,109 of 3,14,01,262 households has been surveyed through 5,09,990 team days in 1,84,431 areas through surveillance team.
