UP STF arrests 12 solvers including kingpin in Delhi Police recruitment exam

Lucknow, November 28: The UP Special Task Force (STF) team has arrested 12 accused, including a kingpin Mahendra Singh, who hired people to write in the constable (executive) male and female recruitment examination -2020 in Delhi Police.

According to in-charge Senior Police Officer STF Anil Singh Sisodia, the STF unit of Gorakhpur has arrested 12 accused, including the mastermind from Padleganj intersection in Cantt.

The arrested accused were Mahendra Singh, resident of Dharupur village in Bihar state, Dhananjay Kumar alias MLA, Ashok Kumar Maurya from Gorakhpur, Ram Ashish, Vijendra, Jai Prakash Singh from Prayagraj, Vikas Singh, Abhishek Kumar Yadav from Auraiya district, Pintu Yadav from Etawah , Mahendra Pratap from Santakbirnagar, Amit Singh from Deoria and Arvinder Singh from Kushinagar have admitted their crime. The leader of this gang is Mahendra Singh.

According to the STF, Mahendra Singh, Ashok Kumar Maurya, Jai Prakash, Dhananjay Kumar alias MLA, Vijender Yadav, Mahendra Pratap Yadav by running a ‘solver-gang’, they helped candidates in various competitive examinations.

“All these people search for the candidates from different places and arrange their similar solver in Surat and Hulia and arrange the solver in place of the candidates by joining the staff there at the online center,” as per the STF.

The accused said that on November 27, Abhishek Yadav and Pintu Yadav were called as solver in the constable (executive) male and female recruitment examination – 2020 in Delhi Police organized by Staff Selection Commission (SSC) Central Zone.

“Arrested accused have been lodged in police cantonment and have filed a case against them in the relevant sections. However, further action is being taken by the local police,” according to the STF sources.
