UP: Seema Kushwaha, lawyer of Nirbhaya case, becomes national spokesperson of BSP

Lucknow, February 03: The Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) national president and former Chief Minister of the Uttar Pradesh Mayawati has appointed Advocate Seema Kushwaha as the national spokesperson of the party. This information was given by the party’s national general secretary Satish Chandra Mishra on Thursday.

Seema Kushwaha had joined the BSP on January 20 last. Seema Kushwaha has been a prosecution lawyer in the famous Nirbhaya case.

Seema Kushwaha, a resident of Etawah district of Uttar Pradesh, has studied law from Delhi University. She was a trainee lawyer at the time when this incident happened with Nirbhaya. She had decided to fight this case without charging fees.
