UP: Primary school teacher suspended for committing vulgar act with ‘minor’ student

Ballia, 7 Oct: An official stated on Saturday that a teacher at a government primary school in Rasra block here had been suspended for allegedly engaging in a “indecent act” with a class 3 student.

Authorities have been urged to take disciplinary action against Devendra Bharti, an assistant teacher at the school, and an investigation has been requested.

Manish Kumar Singh, the District Basic Education Officer (BSA), stated that Bharti was suspended with immediate effect on Friday. He stated that the suspension was imposed on the advice of the block education officer (BEO).
