UP polls: Priyanka Gandhi Vadra’s proposed rally in Varanasi on October 2

Varanasi, 24 September: Congress has put all its strength to make Congress’s National General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra’s proposed Varanasi rally a success on October 2. After the local strong satrap Lalitesh Pati Tripathi and ‘Aurangabad House’ parted ways from the Congress party, officials have also gathered for a show of strength in the rally.

Rajesh Tiwari, the cabinet minister in the Chhattisgarh government and the party’s national secretary, checked the preparations for the rally by holding a review meeting at the district office in Maidagin on Friday.

In the meeting, former MLA Ajay Rai informed about the preparations. The leaders also made a strategy to make Priyanka Gandhi’s rally memorable and successful.

During this, Rajesh Tiwari said that it is necessary to make the rally a success and get maximum participation of common people in the society. For this, the ward level, city officials, senior people, AICC, PCC members, frontal organization should fix the responsibility of everyone separately.

He said that a rally is being organized in Kashi to expose this anti-people government. From the city of Baba Vishwanath, Priyanka Gandhi is going to conch shell for the upcoming assembly elections.

In the meeting, welcoming the new office-bearers formed after the expansion in the District Congress Committee, senior party leaders also told the new office-bearers about their responsibilities. District President Raghavendra Choubey presided over the meeting. Seva Dal State President Pramod Pandey, Anil Srivastava, Durga Prasad Gupta, Ritu Pandey etc. were present in the meeting.
