UP police arrests ‘Bahubali’ MLA from MP

Agramalwa, August 15: UP Police team reached in Agramalwa district of Madhya Pradesh from Bhadohi district of Uttar Pradesh on Saturday and arrested โ€˜Bahubaliโ€™ MLA Vijay Mishra.

Agarmalwa Superintendent of Police (SP) Rakesh Sagar said that the Uttar Pradesh police arrested the MLA and got his medical check-up, took a transit warrant.

SP told that a pistol, cartridge and cash of about three lakh rupees have been recovered from the possession of the MLA.

He told that in the early hours of Saturday, the team of about 15-20 policemen of UP police completed their action in about four-five hours and took the MLA with them.

Significantly, a relative of Nishad Party MLA Vijay Mishra from Gyanpur Assembly constituency of Bhadohi district of UP has filed a case against him, his wife and son. Bhadohi police was looking for them in this case. MLA Mishra was going to Agarmalwa via car number UP-60-BR-6030 and on the way he was stopped by the policemen in the village Tanodia and from where he was brought to the police station for grilling.
