Kanpur, 05 December: Along with Cyclone Jawad, a Western Disturbance is also active in the Bay of Bengal. Due to this, there is a change in the weather condition of Uttar Pradesh and the sky has been cloudy for the last three days.

Although the Meteorological Department says that there is no chance of rain, but it will increase in winter.

Dr SN Sunil Pandey, Meteorologist of Chandrashekhar Azad University of Agricultural Technology said on Sunday that the weather is changing rapidly due to the active western disturbance along with northwest moist winds and Cyclone Jawad in the Bay of Bengal. Amidst the movement of clouds, the process of drop in temperature has also started and winter is expected to rise rapidly in the coming few days.

He told that the cyclone has arisen about 580 km southeast of Visakhapatnam near latitude 13.4 north and longitude 86.4 east over south Bay of Bengal. Due to the cyclone, an area of โ€‹โ€‹low pressure is developing and due to this, there may be light clouds over the sky.

โ€œNot only this, fresh Western Disturbance is also expected to reach Western Himalayas by Sunday evening. It may gradually move northwards. Due to this, the moisture content in the air is expected to be high. This is the reason for the cold wave,โ€ he added further.
