UP CM Yogi congratulates people on Vijayadashami & RSS foundation day

Lucknow, 24 Oct: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath tweeted on Tuesday on the occasion of Vijayadashami and the foundation day of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) and extended hearty congratulations and best wishes to the volunteers, the country and the people of the state. He said in his message that (Yato Dharmastato Jayah) “Where there is dharma there is jai (victory)”.

“Hearty congratulations and many good wishes to the people, devotees of the state on Vijayadashami, the great festival of victory of religion and justice. It is my wish that this great festival fills everyone’s heart with immense inspiration for the establishment of religion, truth, goodness and justice. Jai Shri Ram!” he exclaimed.

In his second message, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has extended many congratulations and best wishes to all the volunteer brothers on the foundation day of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh.

He has said that this organization, which connects people with the divine goal of building a strong and united India by spreading national ideas in the society, is a center of inspiration for innumerable citizens.

The two Deputy Chief Ministers of Uttar Pradesh, Keshav Prasad Maurya and Brajesh Pathak, in their message said, “hearty congratulations and best wishes to the entire country and people of the state on the great festival Vijayadashami (Dussehra), symbolizing the victory of religion over unrighteousness, truth over untruth, light over darkness.”

Former Chief Minister and National President of Samajwadi Party (SP) Akhilesh Yadav has also congratulated the people of the state on Dussehra.

State Tourism and Culture Minister Jaiveer Singh, in a congratulatory message issued on Vijayadashami, said that the festival of Vijayadashami symbolizes the victory of good over evil. Maryada Purushottam Lord Shri Ram had killed Ravana on this day. To commemorate this, the festival of Vijayadashami is celebrated. This festival is also a symbol of our cultural heritage.

Singh said that on this occasion the effigy of Ravana, a symbol of evil, is burnt. The festival of Dussehra is very important in Sanatan tradition. Weapons are also worshiped on this day; the state government has resolved to follow the ideals of Lord Shri Ram. His sacrifice and ideal life are a source of inspiration for the society.

State President of Bharatiya Janata Party Bhupendra Singh Choudhary and State General Secretary (Organization) Dharampal Singh have sent greetings and good wishes to the people of the state on the occasion of Vijayadashami festival and wished for public welfare.

State BJP President Bhupendra Singh Choudhary, while wishing people on the festival of Vijayadashami, said that this Vijayadashami festival has brought moments of joy and rest. The centuries-long wait for the construction of a grand temple at the birthplace of Shri Ram is going to be completed soon. This festival communicates social, family and national responsibilities and dignity, religion, policy and morality. Everyone should move forward together and ensure their role in building a prosperous nation with the desire for public welfare.
