UP cabinet approves 13 proposals including new Excise Policy 2020-21

Lucknow, January 21: In the meeting of the Yogi Cabinet of Uttar Pradesh, late Tuesday, 13 proposals including the new Excise Policy have been approved.

Proposal was passed regarding the framing of new Excise Policy for the year 2020-21. Under this policy, the tender system will be online. The renovation will be completely online and will take place across the state simultaneously. Now a applicant will be able to keep only two shops.

After the cabinet meeting, the government spokesperson and Minister Shrikant Sharma told the journalists that last time the Excise Department had collected revenue of 27 thousand crores, this time the target is 31 thousand 600 crores. Brand and label approval will be on single stage only. Trade mark registration is required. Excise duty has been reduced in Micro Brewery. Now licenses will also be given on cruise. Wine will also be sold at the beer shop. With this, a stamp has been given to return the bank guarantee in 90 days in the cabinet meeting.

Proposal was also passed regarding the permissibility of land-related facilities to Messrs. Patanjali Food and Herbal Park Noida Pvt. Ltd. under the Government Order issued in favor of M / s Patanjali Ayurveda Limited.

Regarding the approval of the proposal of additional limit of Rs. 150 crore for withdrawal of working capital loan taken in the current financial year under Clause 8.4 of UDAY Scheme for Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation Limited and Allied Power Distribution Corporations was passed in the cabinet meeting.

Shrikant Sharma said that in the cabinet meeting, 345.27 crore was passed for the construction work of expansion and beautification of Kashi Vishwanath temple in Varanasi district. A proposal to start work in this regard has been cleared.
