UP: 3rd Groundbreaking ceremony to be held in June in Lucknow

Lucknow, 09 May: The Yogi Adityanath government of Uttar Pradesh has started preparing for the third ground breaking ceremony. Next month there will be a gathering of investors in Uttar Pradesh once again.

Like the previous tenure, this time also Yogi is working on a concrete strategy to bring investment in Uttar Pradesh. It is expected that the event will be held in the first week of June. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is likely to attend it.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said in a high-level meeting on Monday that Uttar Pradesh has emerged as the best destination for industrial investment in the country in the last five years under the guidance of the Prime Minister. Uttar Pradesh, which was ranked 14th till 2017 in the national ranking of Ease of Doing Business, is at the second position today. Now “Team UP” will have to work with the goal of coming first in this ranking.

He said that in the last UP Investor Summit, we had received investment proposals worth more than 4.68 lakh crores. Out of these, proposals of more than three lakh crores are being realized today. All preparations should be completed on time for the third ground breaking ceremony of the state in the coming June. This event will give flight to the aspirations of ‘New India of New Uttar Pradesh’.

Along with this, the Chief Minister said that all necessary cooperation should be given by the government to the institutions wishing to set up universities in the private sector. Establishment rules, qualifications have also been simplified as much as possible. Never keep such proposals pending.

It is expected to be attended by veteran industrialists from across the country including Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

‘Ground breaking ceremony’ is proposed at Indira Gandhi Pratishthan, Lucknow.

Chairman, CEO and Directors of many international companies including Adani Group, Microsoft India, Reliance Industries,

Hiranandani Group, Birla Group, ITC Group will participate.
