Unlock-2: Number of Covid beds scaled up to 1.51 lakh in UP

Lucknow, July 01: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that it is necessary to take constant precautions to avoid infection of Covid-19 even during Unlock-2. In view of this, the Covid-19 protocol should be strictly followed.

While ensuring that people use mask or face cover compulsorily, he directed that while doing regular patrolling by the police, it should be ensured that there is no crowd anywhere.

He also emphasized the effective implementation of physical distance.

Number of beds in Covid hospitals now increased to 1.51 lakh

The Chief Minister was reviewing the unlock-2 system at a high level meeting at his government residence on Wednesday.

He expressed satisfaction over the availability of 1.51 lakh beds in Covid hospitals and the ability to test more than 25 thousand tests per day.

He has instructed to increase the testing capacity to 30 thousand tests daily and to keep the arrangements of Covid hospitals in order.

Medical screening of people should be done from door to door

The Chief Minister said that medical screening has a crucial role in controlling corona infection. In view of this, medical screening of people should be done from house to house by the medical screening team. After the screening, which needs to be treated, proper treatment should be made for them.

Instructing to monitor the data of the medical screening team, he said that it would help in deciding a better strategy to deal with the infection of Covid-19.

Instructions to promote rapid antigen test

The Chief Minister has directed to promote rapid antigen test.

He said that along with Corona, prevention of communicable diseases should be widely publicized. Covid help desk should be established in all government and private institutions.

Special attention needs to be given to Meerut Circle

The Chief Minister said that special attention is needed on Meerut Circle. Medical screening should be done door-to-door by conducting a ten-day special campaign in all the districts of the board. On the basis of symptoms, treatment of those found suspicious should be arranged. Extensive arrangements for infection prevention should also be made at all major places.

Operate industrial units at full capacity by following safety protocols

The Chief Minister has given instructions to get water harvesting done through MGNREGA.

He said that industrial units should be operated at full capacity following the protocol of infection protection. All arrangements should be made for effective control of the locust.

He also directed to encourage zero budget farming through Krishi Vigyan Kendras.
