New Delhi, February 03: Prime Minister Narendra Modi while addressing an election rally in Shahdara area of โ€‹โ€‹Delhi on Monday said that the election of Delhi Legislative Assembly is going to determine the future of not only the capital but also of 21st century India.

The Prime Minister said that while addressing the Vijay Sankalp rally, the Prime Minister said that this is the first public meeting after the announcement of elections in Delhi. He said that this election will not be only to form the government but to take the development of Delhi to a new height. This election is to resolve this pride of Delhi in the identity and pride of the 21st century.

Addressing a massive rally, Modi stated “There is no need to tell what is the mind of the people of Delhi. It is clear from the crowd present here. In the Lok Sabha elections, each vote of Delhi increased the strength of the BJP and by winning seven seats, which showed the direction they were thinking. The vote of Delhi has helped a lot in changing the country and their vote will also change Delhi and make it safe and modern.”

Modi while speaking at the election gathering, has expressed his displeasure over the anti-CAA protest.

“The protest in the capital Delhi and some other places in the country about the Citizenship (Amendment) Act (CAA) is not mere coincidence but it is a planned conspiracy. The purpose of this conspiracy is to weaken the communal harmony of the country and fragment the country,” Modi added.

Modi said that there is anger among the people of Delhi and the country about the ongoing opposition to the CAA. People should answer this anger by giving a mandate to the BJP in Delhi. He said that the mandate given to BJP in Delhi will strengthen their hands.

Addressing his first election meeting in the Delhi Assembly election campaign, Modi cited the protests of Jamia Millia Islamia and Shaheenbagh as saying that all this is not spontaneous and accidental. There is a plan to weaken the country behind this.

Modi alleged that opposition parties are giving vent to this movement and those opposing it are hiding the genuine intentions by fake demonstration of the Constitution and the national flag.
