Nagpur, March 17: Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh’s Sarkaryavah Dattatreya Hosabale has said that the concept of minority prevailing in the country should be reconsidered. For the Sangh, all living in India are equal.

On Sunday, the last day of the three-day All India Pratinidhi Sabha meeting of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh at Reshimbag in Nagpur, Dattatreya Hosabale was elected to the post of Sarkaryavah for three consecutive years for the second time.

Sarkaryavah Hosabale told in the press conference that the Christian and Muslim communities who are not covered under the Hindu Code Bill in the country are called minorities but the Sangh considers all those living in this country and accepting it as their own, as Hindus. As a hosabale, the time has come to reconsider the concept of the word minority. Minority in the country means being Christian or Muslim, but there is also a need to rethink the concept of minority.

On the 10 years of the Central Government and the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, Hosabale said that 25 eminent people from all over the world have appreciated the changes that have taken place in India in the last 10 years. In the coming elections, the public will also review the work of the government through votes. As the Hosabale Sangh also feels that in the last 10 years, better work has been done in various fields and the respect of the country has also increased.

Sharing his views on the Manipur episode, Hosabale said that the deep wound caused to the hearts of people during the violence in Manipur will not go away suddenly. The Sangh has volunteers in both the Meitei and Kuki communities of Manipur. In the last one year, the Sangh has made efforts to maintain peace in the state by talking to prominent people of both the communities. It will take some time for the bitterness that has developed in people’s minds due to violence to subside.

Regarding Uniform Civil Code, Sarkaryavah said that the Sangh had appreciated the state government for the implementation of Uniform Civil Code in Uttarakhand. The Union has always been in favor of implementing a Uniform Civil Code throughout the country.

On this occasion, Hosabale condemned the incident of Sandeshkhali. At the same time, he called for saving the country from elements like Amritpal who are promoting terrorism in Punjab. He also called for being alert from anti-national forces infiltrating the farmers’ movement.

Expressing his opinion about women’s respect, Hosabale said that it is completely unfair to look at women only as goddesses and maids. Women are proving their worth in every field. The Sangh has always stood behind such efficient women and will continue to stand behind such efficient women in the future also. On this occasion, Sangh’s All India Publicity Chief Sunil Ambekar and Co-Publicity Chief Narendra Kumar were present.
