New Delhi, 28 April: Gurucharan Singh, who played the role of Roshan Singh Sodhi in the serial Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, is still missing even after seven days. He has been missing since Monday.
Gurucharan’s father had filed a missing complaint at Palam police station. The father said that he had left home to go to Mumbai but he neither reached Mumbai nor came home.
Based on the complaint, Palam police station has registered a missing case and is investigating.ย
According to DCP Rohit Meena, apart from the local police, special staff is also searching for Gurucharan Singh. Police have examined more than 200 CCTV footage. On the evening of 22 April, he was seen in Palam area. At present the police is interrogating his family and friends.ย
According to the police, Gurcharan Singh and his family live in Sadhnagar, Palam. In the complaint lodged at Palam police station, his father Harjeet Singh has said that his son Gurucharan Singh had left home on Monday morning to go to Mumbai. He was supposed to catch a flight from IGI Airport to Mumbai but he has neither reached Mumbai nor returned home.
According to him, the family members tried to contact him on his mobile but his mobile is switched off.ย The police officer said that a missing case has been registered on the complaint. Police have scanned the CCTV camera footage from his house to IGI Airport.
