Lucknow, 30 August: Finance and Parliamentary Affairs Minister of Uttar Pradesh and Minister in charge of Lucknow district Suresh Kumar Khanna on Saturday did surprise inspection of various wards of the city regarding cleanliness and other arrangements.
During the inspection, Mayor Sushma Kharkwal, Municipal Commissioner Gaurav Kumar and Municipal Corporation officials were present.
He inspected five wards of zone one and two. These include Rani Laxmibai Ward (Aminabad Ghantaghar Park), Ganeshganj Ward, Labor Colony Ward, Golaganj Ward and Kunwar Jyoti Prasad Ward. During the inspection, cleanliness was found to be better than before at all places.
The minister directed concerned officials to immediately activate the engineering gang of the Municipal Corporation and said that wherever there are problems related to construction or cleanliness, work should be done immediately and facilities should be provided to the public.
