Stones pelted 3 times in 7 days on Vande Bharat Express train in Palam, Gurugram

Jaipur, 26 April: The incidents of stone pelting on the Ajmer-Delhi Cantt Vande Bharat Express train, which started about 15 days ago, have increased the concern of the officials. Stones have been pelted thrice in the last seven days on this train.

According to railway officials, miscreants targeted Vande Bharat on Sunday and Monday. The train was going from Delhi to Jaipur. Between 6.30 and 7.30 pm, stones were pelted on this train near Palam and Gurugram stations. Three window panes of Vande Bharat coach number C4 and C5 have been broken due to stone pelting.

Officials say that the RPF deployed in the train informed the control room about the incident. After this, information was gathered from the people around the spot. So far the stone pelters could not be traced. Last year also eight incidents of stone pelting on trains have come to the fore in Jaipur division.
