State President of Hindu Mahasabha, Ranjeet shot dead in Lucknow

Lucknow, 02 February : State President of All India Hindu Mahasabha, Ranjeet Bachchan was shot dead by motorcycle-borne criminals at around 6.30 am on Sunday. The incident took place in Hazratganj.

Ranjeet went out of his OCR building residence in the morning to walk the morning with his friend Aditya. Then the criminals shot him in the head. During this time, his friend was also shot in the hand.

All senior police officers, including Police Commissioner Sujeet Pandey, reached the spot as soon as the incident was reported.

Hazratganj Police has sent the body for post-mortem at King George Medical University(KGMU). Police commissioner Sujeet Pandey said that Bachchan was shot near Globe Park. Aditya, who is walking with him, was shot in the arm. He is undergoing treatment at the trauma center of KGMU.

He has said that the murderers will be arrested soon. Ranjeet Bachchan was a resident of Gorakhpur. He resided in B block of OCR Building in Lucknow.

It is noteworthy that earlier on October 18  2019, Hindu Samaj Party President Kamlesh Tiwari was murdered by two vicious criminals in Lucknow. Both the criminals were arrested by ATS from Gujarat.
