It is said that stand-up comedian Munawar Farooqui is also included among them. The police received information about illegal consumption of liquor in the hookah parlor, after which the police conducted a raid.

According to the report, the police raided and detained some people, including the name of Munawar Farooqui.

An officer associated with the raid said, “Our team got information about tobacco being used in the name of hookah in a hookah bar in Mumbai. After this we conducted a raid. After examining the items found there, some people were detained. “A case has been registered. Munawar Farooqui is also among those detained.”

According to Mumbai Police, “Bigg Boss 17” winner Munawar Farooqui and 13 others were detained after a raid on a hookah parlor in Fort area. After interrogation, all of them were punished and released. A case has been registered against all of them. These hookah parlors were being run illegally.

During the raid, Rs 4,400 in cash and goods worth Rs 13,500 were seized. A case has been registered in this matter under the section of Cigarettes and Other Tobacco Products Act.
