Senior leaders of BJP to hold six massive rallies to clear misconceptions about CAA in Uttra Pradesh

Lucknow, Jan 15: The central and state leadership of the Bharatiya Janta Party( BJP) is serious about exposing the misinterpretation regarding the Citizenship Amendment Act(CAA) being spread by Congress, SP, BSP, Left and other opposition parties. Therefore, senior  BJP leaders will will hold large rallies at six places in Uttar Pradesh to clear the confusion over CAA. It will begin from January 18 in Varanasi, the parliamentary constituency of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

BJP officials and activists are appealing for public participation in the rally by distributing handbills related to CAA among the public. A target has been set for regional presidents, district heads, in-charge, MPs and MLAs to raise the number to make the rally a success.

At the Varanasi rally, Union Minister Smriti Irani will expose the anti-national activities of the Congress. The rally will be held on January 18 at Sampoornanand Sanskrit University in Varanasi. So, continuous round of meetings are going on for the workers of various districts of Kashi region to participate in this rally.

Preparations have been stepped up to make the rally of proposed top leaders in six regions of the state a success. Union Home Minister and BJP National President Amit Shah will hold rally in Lucknow on January 21 . BJP executive president JP Nadda will address a rally in Agra on January 23, while Defense Minister Rajnath Singh in Meerut on January 22. In the same sequence, on January 19, former Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh Shivraj Singh Chauhan will roar in Gorakhpur and on January 20, a rally will be held in Kanpur.

Govinda Narayan Shukla, State General Secretary and Rally Incharge of UP BJP said that ‘Lok Janajagaran’ rally is being organized on different dates in six regions of UP in support of CAA. It has been named a ‘regional rally in support of the CAA’ by the party. He told that there will be a crowd of more than one lakh people in all rallies.

BJP state president Swatantradev Singh said that people are being told about the conspiracy of Congress, SP, Left and other opposition parties opposing CAA. He said that the government will not take a step back regarding the CAA. He said that the BJP is now campaigning in refugee settlements regarding the CAA.

Swatantra Dev Singh said that Hindu, Sikh, Buddhist, Parsi, Christian and Jain religion families from Pakistan, Afghanistan and Bangladesh are present in all the districts of Uttar Pradesh. Such people have been identified. They will be helped to overcome the difficulties in granting citizenship. Spokesperson Chandramohan Singh said that the rounds of Tiranga-Yatra are going on in cities and districts regarding CAA. Public support is rising in its support.
